    • Products must be tested by TEC-designated Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) in India.

  • Create an Account:

    • Register on the MTCTE portal (https://www.mtcte.tec.gov.in).
  • Submit Application:

    • Fill out the application form on the portal.
    • Upload all required documents, including:
      • Product details and specifications
      • Manufacturing details
      • Test reports
      • Authorization letters (if applicable)
  • Evaluation by TEC:

    • TEC reviews the application and test reports for compliance.
    • Additional testing may be required in some cases.
  • Certification Issuance:

    • If all requirements are met, TEC issues the certificate.
    • The certificate is valid for 5 years (or as specified).
