Why Is BIS Hallmark Registration Important?
- Purity Assurance: Ensures that precious metal articles meet the specified standards.
- Legal Requirement: As of June 16, 2021, hallmarking is mandatory for gold jewelry and artifacts in India.
- Consumer Trust: Builds confidence in the product's quality and authenticity.
- Global Recognition: Complies with international standards of metal purity.
Who Needs BIS Hallmark Registration?
